God stands watch over our faith like the diligent mother watching over her toddler playing by a pool. Our faith is protected by God because it is precious to Him. All our interactions with Him require faith, so He is sure to tend its fire and fan its flame. If the Lord desires our company and we are assured He does, surely He will protect the medium that enables it. He will never allow our lifeline to Him to be severed. Just as a climber inspects his or her ropes inch-by-inch searching for any weakness in the line, Jesus maintains the faith that holds us to Him. 9/5/2009 Conversations Within ts
