Imagine life without hope. Life would hardly be life without hope and a future. Such an existence would be daunting even fit the desperate descriptions of hell. A great many of our hopes are tied inseparably to promise. Where humans are concerned, there is room for doubt but where God is concerned, promises are another matter. To worry is to forget the character of the One who has made them. We are assured that because it is impossible for God to lie, no one who hopes in His promises will ever be disappointed.
