“Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Mt.6.34 ESV
To me, these words of Jesus are just one more encouragement to be where you are. Don’t waste today’s energy on tomorrow’s concerns. Worry is always about the future even if it is only moments away. If I cannot live tomorrow’s life today, why be concerned with tomorrow’s worries. There are concerns that need our attention in the “now,” when tomorrow arrives it will have its own concerns.
