Just me trying to be honest with God.

“He [God] walks everywhere incognito. And the incognito is not always hard to penetrate.” C.S. Lewis

“For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” (Sermon on the Mount) Mt.7.8 ESV

It appears that there is as much value in the asking as in the receiving. The very act of seeking strengthens the spiritual muscles of finding. It is no wonder that God would require these actions from those who would know Him. And, it only makes sense that the more these muscles are used the stronger our faith becomes. This may explain why God seems so elusive at times, not that He wants to remain hidden; He hides that we might seek Him. Parents play hide-and-seek with their children, not to stay out of sight but to be found. 1/15/2010 Conversations Within ts
