The other day my youngest daughter asked if we would get her a Bible for her birthday. My precious girl has tasted Heaven’s bread and the pursuits of her life are changing. Jesus issues the challenge to center our lives on something more than just paying the mortgage and the acquisition of stuff. Of course, some have centered their lives on religious pursuits and often fair no better. Christ tells us that He is the proper center of life. He is not a religion to practice but a union to enjoy.
