Once we wake to the presence of God, our task is to remain awake. We are so easily lulled back into sleep. But imagine how our everyday interactions would change if we were to remain awake to God’s presence. We are truly awake when we are aware, not just to His presence around us but His presence in us. His presence within is actually more potent than if Jesus physically walked with us each day. The disciples managed to fall asleep when He was just a few feet away. But when the soul is awake to the Presence within, we may commune with Him even in our sleep. 1/25/2010 Conversations Within ts
