"Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs…” (Sermon on the Mount) Mt.7.6 ESV
Christ tells us not to judge, then immediately tells us to make a judgment. He tells us make a judgment about "what is holy" and what are "pearls" and who are "dogs, and swine.” There are times to we should not pass judgment and times proper to it. So, what do these words mean? Well, one application that comes to mind is that we might want to rethink what we hope accomplish when we quote the Scripture to people who have no respect for them. 1/13/2010 Conversations Within ts
