“The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” Jo.3 ESV
Many Christians, with good intent but poor effect, will often speak of whether such and such a person is going to hell or not. The truth is that none of us knows another person’s heart, nor do we know the extent of God’s Spirit working in them. And though there is certainly a Hell, it is not our place to say if a person is going there or not. Our place is to attend to our own faith and how well we exhibit the value of trusting Christ to others. I don’t think I have ever met anyone in whom God’s Spirit was not working. If we listen carefully, we can here the sound of the Wind even in questioning hearts. How else will people find the Answer, if they are not permitted, even encouraged to ask questions? 4/22/2010 Conversations Within ts
