Just me trying to be honest with God.

Trusting God means you can enjoy the scenery even when taking a detour.

“Now when these signs meet you, do what your hand finds to do, for God is with you.” 1Sa 10:7

Roadblocks and detours are “cie la vie;” we should not only expect them but accept them. There is no profit in complaining or fretting over them; just take them as the come. It certainly makes it easier to accept them when we believe that we are being led by a most wise providence and that life’s detours are necessary for one reason or another. But it is one thing to expect delays and another to cause them. And, whether we did something to cause them or not, once detours come, it is better to be where you are, attend to the present with gratitude and grit and follow the signs. Oh yes, there will always be signs for anyone who looks for them. 4/14/2010 Conversations Within ts
