Sharing is the religion of good relationships.

“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” Ja.1.27

Christians often speak of Christianity not as a religion but as a relationship. This does not mean that there are no religious aspects to our relationship with God. There certain are and should be as with any relationship. I religiously tell my wife that I love her; we religiously practice certain activities each day. The essence of our relationship is that we share. Sharing is the religion of our relationship. Christ invites us to share with Him and to take up his concerns for others. He would bind us to Him by uniting us to each other. 3/29/2010 Conversations Within ts
