“The union between the Father and the Son is such a live concrete thing that this union itself is also a Person.” C. S. Lewis

“…that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us.” Jo.17.21 ESV

Whatever oneness exists between the Father and His Son is the prayer of Jesus for us. The Spirit appears to be the agent that makes this possible. Incredibly, He is sent to live in us for the expressed purpose that we might live in them. The oneness that results from this union is described in the Scripture as the body of Christ. All the individual members are joined in such a way that distinctiveness is not lost but a single unity is created. We are the hands, and feet and mouth of Christ. We are His presence in the world. Every Christian would do well to remember that when we walk into a room Christ presence in us has walked into the room. 4/1/2010 Conversations Within ts
