Spirit of Christ, wake me to the realities of being in Christ—that I am in Him now as Noah was in the ark, that being in Him is to belong to the fraternity of His suffering but also to share His glory. Impress upon us that to be in Christ is to be marked with mercy, an immigrant citizen of a spiritual kingdom, adopted into royalty not to be served but to serve.
