That a perfect God would give us the power to choose is reason enough to believe that our freedom to do so is necessary to know and love Him. The freedom to choose has never been our problem. Everything wrong with the world is the abuse of that freedom just as everything right with the world is the proper use of it. True submission to God is always voluntary and motivated by love.
