Modesty is about so much more than dress but it is certainly reflected in it. Modesty is the ambiance of the whole person. Its presence can be the hint of a pleasant aroma; its absence, an overpowering odor. Modesty conceals yet subtly reveals. It causes those who pass by to pause and wonder if there is more here than meets the eye. Like a well done cover of an old book, it invites people to explore and discover the hidden treasures of one's inner life.
