“Eat right, exercise, die anyway!” Anonymous

“What does man gain by all the toil at which he toils under the sun?” Ecc.1 ESV

Everybody experiences some sense of frustration and futility. I read once that housework is like stringing beads with no knot on the end of the string. Life is pretty much the same, our efforts never end and we seem never to reach the end of our efforts. One popular notion heard these days is just to enjoy the journey. It was certainly the conclusion of one of the wisest men in history. He said, “Take your portion, and to rejoice in your labor; this is the gift of God.” A person may grow to embrace the struggles of life even delight in them.
It is true that those who eat right and exercise will die anyway but “winners forget they're in a race, they just love to run.” With Honors (the movie)
