I often forget to ask for God's help and wind up asking for His forgiveness instead. This is generally the case when I try to face my inner demons alone. Help is always offered to us in the very act of asking for it. The encouragement to ask is God's way of changing our focus from our temptations to the joy of His company. It is always better not to mention easier to redirect our thoughts than it is to resist them. 9/28/2010 Conversations Within ts
