When Jesus awakens us to life with God, holiness is born in our hearts. Holiness touches everything we do as a newborn does to its young mother. The baby is never far from anything the mother does, everything is influenced by the life of the child. In the same way, God is center of holiness. He is the hub, the axle of life, the point around which everything revolves. He is never far from our thoughts and everything from eating a sandwich, watching a movie, or listening to a song not only brings Him to mind but becomes a means of enjoying Him.
