The expression, “Make your peace with it,” pretty much tells us that peace is something we must do before it is something we feel. What is it that we must do? Well if it can be changed, change it and if not resign to it. When we say that we must make our peace with something, we mean that we must, at least for the present, accept that whatever is, is. The question facing us many times is this, is this issue I am facing right now, one of those things that cannot be changed, at least by me.
