Sharing truth without love is like sharing the dictionary definition of a friend to someone who has never had one. The best way to speak about friendship is of course to be a friend. The best way to speak about the value of faith is to live it. What value is there only talking about truth; it is living it that brings certainty. True love is the only truth, everything else is shown to be false without it. This is probably why Jesus tells us that God is love, and that He is truth. In Jesus, God is sharing the truth with us and saying, “I love you!” Conversations Within ts 1/21/2012 (Camp Farrington, AL)
